Airport posted a great article about art displayed at the Austin airport.
My art is an expression of my experiences with the people and world around me. I like to work extemporaneously and in the abstract. Bright colors tend to excite me, as well as geometry and asymmetry. I typically work in the moment, working with paints and dyes on fabric, creating serendipitous designs.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic spotlight on the Art Cloth Network exhibit at the Austin airport! Your image of “Black White Blue” alongside Russ Little’s “Inner Glow” brings such vibrant energy to the space—I love how the art transforms everyday surroundings into moments of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAs someone drawn to improvisational fiber art myself, I resonate deeply with your spontaneous, expressive approach to cloth and color. It’s amazing how pieces like these can surprise us, bringing bold geometry, bright hues, and a moment of serendipity into public spaces. Lately, I’ve been exploring ways to improve comfort in my own creative space, and adding an H2O Humidifier has been such a refreshing touch during long hours of work.
Thanks for sharing this—I’ll be on the lookout for more hidden gems like this in airports and beyond!
