My art is an expression of my experiences with the people and world around me. I like to work extemporaneously and in the abstract. Bright colors tend to excite me, as well as geometry and asymmetry. I typically work in the moment, working with paints and dyes on fabric, creating serendipitous designs.

Austin Fiber Artists Show at the Austin Bergstrom Airport
The Austin Fiber Artists have a show up at the Austin Bergstrom Airport July-October 14, 2014. It is a really good show. If you have a chance, stop by and check it out. It is located at the Airside Gallery East location, between gates 7-8, across from the bathroom.

Houston Quilt Show
Just returned from the Houston Quilt Show. Viewed some incredible quilts and connected with some great artists. I love the diversity the show has to offer. This year, our group quilt, 'Little Bird' was there. Fun, fun, fun!

Upcoming Fiber Art Show
I have a couple pieces in the Austin Fiber Artists show, “Fiber on the Edge” at the Dougherty on Barton Springs, Austin, Texas.
There is an opening reception on Tuesday, August 6, 6-8pm. I would love to see you there.
