Fiber Artists of San Antonio

Fiber Artists of San Antonio has an upcoming show at the Say Si Gallery, 1518 S, Alamo Street, San Antonio, Texas from November 22-December 16, 2016. The opening reception will be December 2 from 6-8pm.

I will have three pieces hanging in the show.  If you are in the neighborhood, come on by. It will be a great show!

A bit of bragging

Just taking a moment to announce my presence at Visions Art Museum, San Diego, California.

My piece, ‘Tumbling Leaves’ is included in Under a Spell, an online exhibit now posted at Visions Museum. 

‘Tall Trees’ is part of a member challenge in Surface Design, to be on display from July 16-October 2, 2016.

‘Black on White’ will be part of the exhibit,  BREAKOUT: Quilt Visions 2016 from October 15, 2016—January 8, 2017.

I am very honored to be part of the wonderful work to be seen at Visions Art Museum.

Dallas Quilt Show 2016

Pleased to have two quilts recognized at the Dallas Quilt Show. Both ‘Drips’ and ‘Graffiti’ received Honorable Mentions in the Art Quilt category. If you are in the Dallas area, go see the wonderful quilts on display, March 11-13, 2016 at the Dallas Market Hall.

Visions!

Humbled and honored to have my quilt, ‘Black on White’ selected for the show Breakout: Quilt Visions 2016 at the Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles. The exhibition opens October 15, 2016 and runs through January 8, 2017. If you will be in the San Diego, California area, try and stop by.

Quilters Newsletter Magazine

My quilt, 'Red Royale', is included in the Quilters Newsletter, April/May issue. The article, SAQA Go Red for Women', showcases red quilts showing support of the American Heart Association campaign, which aims to raise awareness about heart disease in women. I am proud to be included in this display of red quilts from Studio Art Quilt Associates(SAQA).

QuiltCon

Did I mention that my quilt, 'Golden', took a trip to QuiltCon in California? It did not get a ribbon, but to get juried into the show was indeed an honor! It was part of the Michael Miller challenge quilts.
